All styles and ranks are welcome

 

Training is 9am till 4pm, Saturday
               9am till Noon, Sunday

 $55 if paid before December 18th, 2009

  INSTRUCTORS

MARK BARLOW, Hachidan, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu

Senior Instructor of Akayama Ryu Jujutsu and a direct student of Alex Marshall for 20 years, Barlow Sensei teaches out of Gulf Coast Martial Arts in Foley, AL and also hold rank in Shodokan Aikido and Judo. Author of the book, JUJUTSU: LEGACY OF THE SAMURAI.

RICHARD WORTHINGTON, Hachidan, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu

A direct student of Akayama Ryu Founder Alex Marshall for over 20 years, Worthington Sensei also holds Dan rank in Aikido and Judo.  His dojo is located in Trussville, AL and regularly produces tournament champions and well as providing outstanding self defense trainingfor LEOs.

CHRIS DEWEY, Shichidan, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu

Dewey Sensei holds Dan rank in Judo, Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. He is the chief instructor of the Starkville Martial Arts Academy in Starkville, MS and is a former USJA Judo Coach of the Year.

ED BYERS, Godan, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu

Byers Sensei is a Federal Law Enforcement Officer and runs the Seven Owls Dojo in Charlotte, NC.  He also holds dan rank in Judo.

JANET DEWEY, Godan, Akayama Ryu Jujutsu

Dewey Sensei is a research scientist at Mississippi State University and holds a 4th Dan in Judo and teaches both children's and adult classes. It's worth the price of admission to see her demonstrate the principle of technique over power.

JIM HUNT, Yodan, Gulf Coast Judo

Hunt Sensei  teaches at Gulf Coast Judo in Ocean Springs, MS and is well known as a ne waza specialist.

ELIZABETH SEUFERLING, 4th Degree Black Belt, Hapkido

With over 30 years of training in TKD and Hapkido, Mrs. Seuferling has been a long-term student of Rim, Jong Bae, a direct student of the Founder of Hapkido.  She is based out of Baltimore, Maryland

LARRY CAMEJO, Sandan, Shodokan Aikido

Chief Instructor of the Ontario Martial Arts Institue in Canada, Camejo Sensei is also an Akayama Ryu Jujutsu Black Belt.

JOSEPH LUMPKIN, 9th Degree Black Belt, Shinsei Hapkido

Founder and Chief Instructor of Shinsei Hapkido, Mr. Lumpkin is based out of Blountsville, AL and holds a rank of Sandan in Akayama Ryu.
